The Light Service (Safety check)
Cost £30.00
Adjust brakes and gears, lube cables and chain, check for worn parts and damage, pump tyres.
Advice on what extra work might be required and the new future.
The Regular Service
Cost £44.00
- Step 1: Remove saddle and seat post. Grease inside seat tube, replace and clamp in stand.
- Step 2: Remove both wheels and any parts to be replaced.
- Step 3: Remove any hardened grease and dirt from cassette/freewheel then clean with GT85 and rags.
- Step 4: Clean rim brake surfaces with de-greaser.
- Step 5: Tighten hub cones and quickly true wheels in jig with tyres on.
- Step 6: Remove any hard grease and dirt from front and rear derailleurs then clean with GT85 and rags.
- Step 7: Clean brake callipers with GT85 and rags.
- Step 8: Fit any new parts.
- Step 9: Complete set up of brakes and gears replacing any cables and cable outer where necessary.
- Step 10: Lube brake levers and shifters and pump tyres.
- Step 11: Check Crank bolts, Pedals, Stem bolts, Seat bolts.
- Step 12: Test ride.
The Heavy Service
Cost £66.00
Same as above, the extra charge is for extra cleaning when the bicycle has not been cleaned for a while.
The Take it all to Pieces and Put it Back Together Again Service.
Cost, prices on request.
This might apply when you love your bike and you want to give it a present by repainting the frame.
Other stuff
Any new parts fitted to the bicycles during the servicing will be charged at normal retail prices. If it's larger items we will always discuss this before going ahead and fitting the parts.
You don't have to have a complete service when you bring your bicycle to us. We are happy to complete jobs on demand, i.e. fix a puncher, replace a brake cable for example.
